Volunteers play a crucial role in the sustainability of Schooner Adventure. Since Captain Jim Sharp sailed Adventure into Gloucester in 1988, hundreds of volunteers have helped do everything from run the organization to restore the vessel.
The diverse array of talents and contributions of our volunteers not only help sustain the legacy of Adventure, but also ensure its continued relevance and impact in Gloucester and beyond. Their efforts serve as a testament to the power of collective action and the enduring spirit of maritime heritage.
